But seriously, I think this is one of the best songs on the black album. Worthy of their older material really.

It may be because I'm always exposed to mid- and late-era Metallica as a result of my brother existing, but I think I actually preferred that to the original. Especially the opening and closing guitar motif.

Manowar is one of my absolute favorite bands at the moment. They're just cheesy and dumb as ****, but they're about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.
Also, if you've never been able to get into death metal, this might be the perfect album to listen to to get into it. Brutal and intense, but with actual songs that sound like songs...
