Heh. I actually haven't heard it in years. I only have it on cassette! It's not one their best albums imo, but "Inside the Termite Mound" and "Intravenous" make it more than worthwhile. Plus, it's an interesting transitional moment for them.

Palma Violets are a new band worth listening to. I've got high hopes for their debut album... xP

Nico Vega - Beast

Really dug this song the first time I heard it, on another movie or video game trailer I think. It's better than alot of things I'm hearing lately in movies, however there are some parts of the songs that drag. Like the stadium chanting near the end.

You don't have to post a video, or even a picture. Posting the song title and artist name is fine, but please do share with us why you are listening to that particular song, or a couple thoughts about it.

Otherwise, you might come back to find your post deleted.

Happy listening!

If this song is of any indication, then Riverside are going to fuckin' rule 2013!

Dr. Lonnie Smith—"Cherokee"
Maybe a little softer and smoother than I usually like my jazz, but with a glass of bourbon at 11:15 on a Monday night it works just fine. Also, the name of this album makes me laugh.

Peter Brotzmann - Die Like a Dog Quartet Improvisation

This is somewhat in the vein of Albert during his very insane days right before he jumped off of the bridge to his death, where he just sounds bat**** crazy because of all his pent up suicidal anger. Plus, it's got double drumming and a crazy pianist to go along with it. Peter Brotzmann may have made a song that is freer than all of the countries combined, because it's like a machine gun train in a sense. All of his stuff is fantastic, but seeing him do this live is awesome. I like how the crowd remains calm as they stand as onlookers to five guys going out of their minds, as they sip their wine and contemplate. Anyways, this is good ****e.

DJ Fresh - Hypercane
I should be winding down to head to bed soon but I'm just full of energy and this song is the perfect compliment to how I'm feeling
