God, the Monks were a weird band. Their vocalist just makes me so happy, with his tongue-in-cheek goofiness, and the rest of the band just are so retardedly minimalistic that I just can't help but love them. Amazing, amazing band. Still sound fresh after forty some years.

A bit of an off-center and quirky baroque pop song, by Tori Amos. I really can't think of very many other artists that were as gifted lyrically and instrumentally as she was.
