I can't explain why I love the album Matador by Arms and Sleepers so much; I just do. Ambient/post rock/Down tempo with female and male vocals singing dark and poignant minimalist love songs. They've released a handful of Post-rock/ambient albums with minimal to know vocals, including a new album last year, but nothing holds a candle to this. It makes little to no sense to me, knowing my preferences for instrumental music, but after 6 months of it being in rotation I still .can't get enough of the album (new headphones sort of rekindled the flame with this one too. There's a lot of detailed imagery going on in this album and a great set of cans presents it quite beautifully)
