A nice, short release from Boris With Merzbow called Sun Baked Snow Cave (sarcasm).
Couldn't really find a full length vid on Youtube, just this clip of excerpts.

There are times when you put time and effort into trying to "get" and album, and when you finally do, it feels like you've accomplished something. Then there are the times when you put on an album you'd previously "not gotten", but this time it just makes sense for whatever reason, and instead of feeling like you've accomplished something, you feel like hitting yourself in the kneecaps with a hammer for not getting it earlier. This is one of the latter times. Seriously, I didn't like Jesus and the Mary Chain?

Woods of Desolation - An Unbroken Moment

It just weirdly sounds so pretty to me. I ****ing love this band, and this song makes me feel...awww.

Taj Mahal Travellers - August 1974

Great album, I've had it hanging around in my library for a while and just got around to listening to it.

So, been finally boning up on my 80s alternative recently, and Dinosaur Jr is one sick band.
