The Raconteurs - "Hands"
This is a sweet song showing how full life is even without the ability to hear that most of us take for granted. My favorite line: "When you smile at me then I know that we don't have to speak a word." I remember reading about someone who is deaf who could still enjoy music by feeling the vibrations, just as is shown in the video. Seeing the girls' rambunctious playfulness and the way the band delighted them was nice, and the girls' pent-up aggression that they were releasing near the end, interesting. I like the video and song's meaning more than the sound of the song! The Raconteurs - "Hands" - YouTube

Blend of electronic music with classical violin pieces. While I'm more a viola fan myself, I will definitely need to get my hands on a full length release by this artist, cause this is pretty good stuff. |

Hoist That Rag by Tom Waits. Another brilliant tune from the grand sir.
