I've never listened to this song closely before because I dislike the sound of it, but while it was playing in a grocery store today some of Lisa Loeb's words cut through to my consciousness enough to make me curious about them and look them up later:

"You say I only hear what I want to, I don't listen hard, don't pay attention...I'm only hearing negative, no no no, bad."

I still hate the sound of the song and overall feel the lyrics are annoying (and I'm not exactly sure how to explain why concisely), but I liked those particular lines (except for the "no no no, bad" part, which sounds stupid to me, like it is being said to a dog).

They're amazing aren't they?

Now this is definitely not the sort of thing I listen to... ever, but it's so catchy. I found out his first album is coming out this summer. I probably won't like it.

O ****, thanks for the notification. Kindred is out. I did some looking and apparently there was an issue with the initial pressing so it is delayed a bit. The copy floating around is a disgusting tranny.
