I forgot to mention...this is a very memorable song/video that Mike Hadreas made. So sweetly sad, unexpected, and amusing, all at the same time! He looks so fragile in the arms of pornographic actor Arpad Miklos.
I liked the video enough to look up the song on Wikipedia and learned that "the promotional video for Hadreas' second album, featuring Hadreas and pornographic actor Arpad Miklos embracing each other wearing only underwear, was deemed unsafe for family viewing by YouTube." Unsafe for family viewing?? I felt the video was wonderful! I like how it stretches the boundaries (beyond "traditional" expectations) of where and how humans hope to find comfort. I listened to more songs by Mike Hadreas, such as the one below. A negative is that they often sound very similar, I feel. A positive is that their simplicity makes them sound meaningful (even if I'm not always sure of the meaning). Perfume Genius - "Learning" (Live) Perfume Genius - Learning (Live) - YouTube
