Recorded a tape for a friend last wednesday:

It's pretty nice, I'd say.
Listening to that now, while it's being recorded on a cassette.
My car is sold and I'm driving in my Dad's oldtimer Volvo, which has a cassette player (I actually installed it, old cars need casette players )

^ That`s a collection of pretty obscure stuff, s_k, The only artists I recognise are the two Jimmies - Hendrix and Cliff.

I`m listening to Dead Combo this Christmas morning - very relaxing, and by coincidence, a nominated album in the current FAIR club poll !

Black Keys are well known, as are the Raconteurs ans Sublime.
But there's indeed some quite obscure stuff there. I'm not sure if it's really something for you, but I can send you a copy if you want .

Pick me. If it's similar to Hendrix and Black Keys I'll love it.

That`s kind of you, but I`ll pass for the moment, thanks. Rare Groove Orchestra is an intriguing name though. What are they like ?

Mmmm, not all of it. But if you like The Black Keys you will like Radio Moscow and if you like stoner like music you will like quite a lot on that tape.
It's a psych/stonerrock tape with some reggae and funk. You'll see.
There's a link coming your way.
Please take in consideration that I Had to make this tape in a very little amount of time and there are some errors in it. Also the tape turned out to have some dropouts, but I didn't have time re-recording it. What you're about to get is a copy from the actual tape, with all it's errors and drop-outs .
I recorded it to the computer after I finished it.

Remember when he did "The Road to Escondido" with Clapton? That was phenomenal.
