Nothing wrong with grindcore, though.

I saw the movie "Cat People" long ago, so I recalled the song but hadn't heard it in years. I especially like the slow beginning.

I just watched a different video (not sure of its source) for the same song and felt it matched the feel of the music quite well:

David Bowie - "Putting Out The Fire"

God - 'Possession'

Good stuff! Seems like the slightly hardcore/industrial/new wave punk bands I really want to start listening to.

If you're into your experimental noise rock, I implore you to give these guys a listen.

It's Too Late (1963) - The lamentably late Wilson Pickett

Curse the labels who never made a hi-fi recording of his music.

Pain of Salvation. The more I listen to them, the more I like them.

Half an hour ago:

SO Much better than I remembered from listening to it in the musicstore.
I love it. One of these records that makes me think: "Where have you been all those years?"

Now:

Also pleasantly surprised. What an epic album.
Psychedelic, but without losing it's musicality. It's really very pretty, musically

Wanted to go to sleep but my beer isn't finished yet, soooo

Third record in a row I absolutely love.
These were records that have been behind the counter of my record store for monts, even years because I preferred to take other records home. What the... They're epic!
