I had a revelation of sorts today. I realized for the first time that on my Mediamonkey, if I can sort by length, artist, title, genre, etc. etc. then I can also sort by play count. So I sorted by play count and I've been rocking this 'playlist' of some of my favorite tracks. I'm on song 134, playing "Closer" by Magic Heart Genies!

The Allman Brothers Band Eat A Peach Eat a Peach `1972` was the last album to include founding member Duane Allman, who was killed in a motorcycle accident on October 29, 1971 while the album was being recorded. I think the later Tull is a bit overrated.
I love their early work. Thick as a Brick is an absolute masterpiece, as is Aqualung, as is Stand up! For that matter. This was... is very nice too. The rest... Nah.

Tull's peak period was 1971 starting with Aqualung and ending in 1979 with Storm Watch. I love all the albums in that period. I agree they started to decline, but not until Storm Watch. Then, Anderson had throat surgery in the mid- 80's, which changed his voice forever. However, his song and lyrical writing ability is absolutely top tier.
