I've currently got the Red Dead Redemption OST spinning on my turntable. Can't post a link to it, but you can find it easy enough on youtube. If you like western type scores, you will enjoy this

I've been listening today to some songs by Peter Gabriel after his and Kate Bush's song "Don't Give Up" went through my mind. (I see Kate Bush was just mentioned in this thread).

I remember I had one of his tapes when I was 18 and listened to it repeatedly, so I must have liked it. I think my favorite song of his is "Red Rain." I also like the hopeful message of "Don't Give Up" even though I don't particularly like the music or the lyrics.

I learned something rather horrifying today about my ability (or lack thereof) to put two and two together. Somehow I had completely overlooked for all these years that Peter Gabriel (solo musician) is the same as Peter Gabriel from Genesis!! And I've even seen him in concert!

I feel amused (and a tad foolish) that I have overlooked this fact for so long. I just never realized they were one and the same, maybe because their music sounds so different to me.

PETER GABRIEL - "Red Rain"

PETER GABRIEL - "In Your Eyes"
