Exclamation Billy Gritt - “Devil and the Damage Done”

Recorded in 2015 at Two Bodies of Water productions with James Seabrook in Edmonton, Alberta. This song “Devil and The Damage Done” is about the inner struggles of a young lad, growing up in a northern mining town in Canada. With absent parents working in the mine, he was left to his own and chose all the wrong decisions.

Yes it is and so far no one (that I know of) has complained about the 'slow pace'
I would use 'discord' to describe so much else in the online social world.

Currently listening to this 'light epic' production by Gothic group Nox Arcana - Eternal Champions

Ordo Dracul (the image in the video) - Order of the Dragon, founded by Sigismund King of Hungary (by marriage) and Croatia (by another marriage) and then the second Bohemian to become Holy Roman Emperor (before the second Hapsburg dynasty).

Famous member of Ordo Dracul: Prince Vlad II of Wallachia who took his surname Dracul from the Order.... and then fathered Vlad III Draculea (son of Dracul) or Dracul-a (according to my sweetie who has been there).... Dracula. Vlad the Impaler.

Answer to the riddle near the end? Beginning at about 6:19.

Nice to meet you.
Had to edit this since my reading comprehension could use some work and I first replied thinking you'd misunderstood my comment. Hard for me to adjust to the ""slow"" and conversational. Will be listening through the stuff

She has a very interesting voice! I forgot to say before (previous page).

Change of pace. This video because of where I spent last week. Was SO beautiful.

The only part of the lyrics that I care about....
You came to me
Was like a dream....
And I wonder why
I'm addicted to love

Serge Devant, 4-year music degree from university in Saint Petersburg, now produces Trance music in NYC.

I'm not really cultured on trance, or matter of fact any club-oriented genre. That track (above post) was very hypnotic and promising.
As an exception I recently enjoyed this project DJ-kicks, from HAAi. It compiles a diverse bunch of hard hitting tracks into a strong and clean mix. Found it through the inclusion of the track lähetys/transmission from Pan Sonic, their music has captivated me this year.

EXCELLENT almost-Punk 70s band, VERY Punkish but not labeled that way. Love the rhythm and bass guitars.

I'm not cultured either...at least according to a couple of people who called me an idiot for saying something that didn't match their 'training' but I'm not the idiot that gets dehumanized by losing focus of how to just enjoy what one loves. I just develped my personal taste back in the early 2000s when elecronica was trying to break out for real. In fact those were the days of the best trance/house and all of that and you'll mostly only find me loving 'classic' tech-music from 10 to 30 years ago. But that's probably just me getting older. Although I do like some of the newer stuff.

I probably posted this song (actually 2 songs) below in the electronica threads, but it's so classic that it came to mind in the middle of typing the above. This would drive non-electronica lovers batty (and yes video this is where I stole my avatar from)..... 'Always.... remember... the Music....'

Couldn't agree more about enjoyment as being valuable on its own.
I say uncultured, as in my engagement with the genre(s) is rather surface-level.
Plenty of great music out there that I don't know of and lots that I don't feel because I'm not in the right setting for it physically or mentally nor can I necessarily be.
IMO shaming enjoyment is a cheap alternative to sharing tastes and encouraging open-mindedness. Shaming in general just tends to push people away and only serve the ones who agree with you... not that in the grand scheme of things that's always undesirable.

Seeing some of the fondness for mystical atmospheres and Ukraine, and in the spirit of clubby electronic, I figured you might like this artist I just found today, Svarog, maybe the track Canyon?
