From the 1967 movie "Bedazzled." Great movie if you've never seen it (it's on Youtube, free). I've become strangely obsessed with the tunes in this scene here, particularly the 2nd one. Both were penned by Dudley Moore, who is the first singer (one of his early movies). He plays a loser guy who makes a pact with the devil (Peter Cook, the 2nd singer) to have 7 wishes granted in exchange for his soul. All of the wishes center around this woman he's interested in but in real life is afraid to ask her anything. But in each of the 7 wishes, the devil comes along and somehow ruins the wish. In this scene Dudley Moore gets a wish to be a pop star and have women going gaga over him, but the devil/Peter Cook ruins the wish by singing after him and the women go even more gaga after the devil.
