This is a grunge example of the ii-I cadence that I often go back to when ever I think of the ii-I cadence as part of the whole IV-I/iii-ii-I cadence(typically found in punk rock music)...

Lyrics
Know me broken by my master
Teach thee on child, love hereafter
Into the flood again
Same old trip it was back then
So I made a big mistake
Try to see it once my way
Drifting body, it's sole desertion
Flying, not yet quite the notion
Into the flood again
Same old trip it was back then
So I made a big mistake
Try to see it once my way
Into the flood again
Same old trip it was back then
So I made a big mistake
Try to see it once my way
Am I wrong?
Have I run too far to get home?
Have I gone?
Left you here alone
Am I wrong?
Have I run too far to get home? Yeah
Have I gone?
Left you here alone
If I would, could you?

I didn't like their unplugged show. Their songs just don't lend themselves to it. Down in a hole, Rooster, Would?, they just don't hit as hard.

Clock DVA - Buried Dreams (1989)

Having loved the opening track for many years, I decided to listen to the entire album for the very first time.

Oh, God! Horribly dated techno-goth rubbish that complements the dreary German techno-industrial rock scene of the time. Even back then, I wouldn't have appreciated this much. But I still have a soft spot for the title track.

Love this live BBC4 performance of one of my favorite songs - prefer it to the studio version, actually. Took a while to find this again online.

Robert Wyatt - Sea Song

Annie Whitehead - Trombone
