I agree with AFX about this tune. The band is obviously influenced by The Cure, but the influence doesn't overwhelm their sound. The bassist has obviously listened to and learned from Steve Hanley. They sound somewhat like the Australian band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, but more atmospheric. I look forward to hearing more from this group.

I definitely hear the Cure influence too, maybe that's why I liked it. I like the way you expressed that the influence doesn't overwhelm their sound. I guess that's when things start sounding unoriginal and imitative. I don't think I've heard of Rolling Blackouts Fever will have to check them out.
