I'm pretty bullish on the Ramones being the best band but in the last couple weeks I've become recommitted to Slayer's perfection, so they are the second best band. The Ramones perfected energy, but Slayer perfected malevolence.

Lol. If you don't want to hear a band singing about Satan then Slayer are the last band for you but they absolutely slap if you can get past all the blasphemy and dark ****.

Like this is an absolutely perfect song.

Their first album is a personal favorite but it's pretty old school for someone not into 80s metal. This is the first Slayer song I ever heard and it's still a favorite. ****in two decades of love for this.
