Which is just great.
I've always thought blondie was interesting to look at.
It's some rare combination of intelligence and sexyness without any sign of sluttyness. Bit old now, but very interesting back then

i know you're not my girlfriend, but
i swear that i love you
baby i do

i don't have to say you stole my heart
'cause anything i have i freely give to you
and i knew right from the very start
that the only place i belong is next to you

Say what?! Do you know the kinds of things that went on among the CBGB crowd back in the day?

Very blatant. Perhaps a good female counterpart to Frankie Goes to Hollywood's infamous, "Relax (Don't do it)" which I remember seeing in concert in Germany.

So which is better, "I touch myself" or "Relax (Don't do it)?" My vote goes to the Divinyls because she is a little more holistic in her approach to desire.

Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Relax (Don't do it)

I definitely vote "I Touch Myself". Such a great song which I've always found surprisingly bittersweet sounding considering the content. As for Frank Goes to Hollywood, I've always much preferred "When Two Tribes Go to War" over "Relax".

If you're on a quest to find very carnal, female-penned songs, might I recommend "Hombre" by MIA:

Ever since hearing Say Anything's "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too' song, I can't think about one w/o the other, lol.

Haha, when I first heard it I actually thought it was a new song by him, so I was freaking out but then I found out it was a cover. Still nice to hear something new from him, even if it is just a cover.
