This song inspired me to write a novel. I started it back in '99 and it's still in the brainstorming stage but I'm thinking about picking it up and continuing it again.

Before I went to see my ex I put the records I bought on my mobile phone so I could listen to them.
I'm now recording three of those albums to a tape that's on her tapedeck.
The tape came with the machine and there was not much on it, so I decided to put it to use .
I'm now recording music from my phone to her revox A77:

I'm recording, in this order:
Arbouretum - The Gathering
The Coral - Butterfly House
Wolf People - Steeple

Apart from one defective VU meter this recorder works remarkably well.
Usually you have to service these machines, but this one is just great.
Recording while using one meter is a bit tricky. I set one channel to the right level and had to do the other one by ear.
But I know I'm pretty good at that sort of stuff so the tape should turn out fine .

I added a couple of tracks from Soundcarriers' "Celeste" to fill up the space.
Now playing Calexico's "Carried to dust".
