Awesome, I'll check them out. And even though I don't grasp free jazz at this point I'm definitely not deterred by it I remember when you and Frown made me listen to John Coltrane's Sun Ship, that was a fun experience

Music's always been great to hear on this disc - good recording of Ashanti and Ewe style drumming from Ghana,
but don't fall for the "clickbait" title that Zorn decided to put on it because they are not, generally, associated with death (one of them, "Adowa" - spelled incorrectly as most of them are - originally was used for funerals, but has long been for various rituals since). |
