I happened upon Guerrero by accident. I stopped by a friend's house sometime in 2014 while he was working in his garage and he had Soul Food Taqueria album playing over the stereo.
I asked him what was playing over the stereo and he told me that Guerrero was a marquee-level skateboarder back in the day with a well-known skateboarding crew Bones Brigade before he became a musician.
It was an interesting enough story that I went out and bought his first three albums, and that was in 2014. So I own 4 of his 10 albums that he's released so far. I bought his latest album Road To Knowhere 2 months ago and like you I'm thoroughly enjoying it. |
