Me too, I think the 70s was his golden period for songwriting and the 90s was his golden period for performing.

Edwyn Collins- You'll Never Know (My Love)
This is a track off his comeback album 'Home Again'(2007) which was released after his recovery from a brain haemorrhage.
Edwyn Collins is pretty underrated outside of his hit 'A Girl Like You'.
He actually reminds me of Nick Cave at times & his album 'Gorgeous George' is pretty good.

maudlin of the Well ~ Heaven and Weak

This song, oh my god it's so amazingly good. Massively energetic, heavy yet beautiful, it's one of the reasons that motW is probably my favourite band at the moment. Even though I've known their albums and such for a long time and always liked it, my new headphones coupled with their new album has just led to massive motW whoring.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

One of my hubby's co-workers is in loooove with this band, and gave me a couple discs to rip. Gotta say, while they have a few decent songs, so far I've been unimpressed. They sound...gimmick-y. I don't know how else to put it. They remind me of that punky cover band Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.

Not my favourite Fall album by a long shot, but this is its saving grace for me. I just wish I'd seen them tour Reformation and play this live.
