He had some great songs. He was a cigarette smoker and wound up dying of complications from emphysema at the age of 71.

Makes sense. Im a smoker too but im hoping to quit before it gets to that, my grandpappy died that way too. My mother told me that as he layed barely breathing in a hospital bed he would ask her for cigarretes.
I been exploring his music cus i like the swing he had and his sense of humor
