Haven't played this album for about eight years but it still sounds great - especially the first three tracks, which just go from strength to strength without a hitch:-

Never heard him before but just listened to three tracks and wow can’t beluebe this one slipped through the cracks but I’m looking forward to getting to know this music.

Gengis Blues? Far out. Have you heard this before, Frown?

Musically it sounds to me like Spınal Tap channelling Blackmore's Night in a Comus tribute for a 70s psychedelic fantasy cartoon for children.
I think that sums it up pretty well. So far this has all the emotional weight of Manowar.

I know his throat singing stuff but not so much his 70s material.

^ I'm glad you liked the Paul Pena album, which really does deserve the label, "forgotten gem". Genghis Blues I have a vague memory of: is it a track, a movie an album or all three? Time for me to find out.

Bingo.

Honestly while his voice is awesome on that album and the story is great but musically it's just alright.
