I always thought Joy Division was eighties 'crap' (you know what I mean. Bad synths, TR 303 clappity claps and a lot of phasers
![]() I found a record of them in a Thrift store for €1 (about 80 dollar cents). Thought I'd just take it. Can always make someone happy with it. Turned out to be rather nice. Not something I'd listen to on a daily base, but it's in my record cabinet now ![]()

They are just one of those bands that once you really delve into them and listen enough you end up loving them. They have a very English sound regarding the bleak foreboding, cold nature of their music and I certainly have to be in the mood to hear them but there are very few bands in music that influenced so many others with just 2 albums.
