Crazy to think that Art of Noise were from the 80's. The sound they pioneered fits so neatly into the musical zeitgeist of today that if you told me some producer on Bandcamp made this I'd probably believe you. Trevor Horn is an underrated musical genius as well and his contribution to the whole affair is excellent as well.

Yeah, I think 80's sounds should be off limit to modern artists. And 90's. And 70's. And 60's. And 50's. If we did away with this silly millennium's worth of rich musical history we'd actually get somewhere!
