Seriously though, what pop (popular) music could ever be relevant after this? Isn't anything that comes after this taking an evolutionary step back and at best saying, "Yeah this amazing but we still like actual songs and just want to take influences from this and other things in this ballpark to make far less transgressive pop music but that's still cool? Or you know we want to **** with your head but who the **** can follow this so here's some stuff that's also cool."

And that clip was filmed by Target Video in San Francisco. I used to be friends with Joe Rees's (Target Video founder) sons |

Nah I'll listen to it eventually I've just been lazy. I mean I dug the split enough to buy it even if I had to be blasted out of my mind.

the new one is just a guitar clinic like a black metal version of Gorguts that happens to have a few electronic samples that in no way drive the sound of the entire product while the second is literally 100% industrial metal with no breaks anywhere in the electronics.

I find the drums pretty industrial still but more in timbre than in style. Also I think it's better.

I'm about halfway through this and I'm conflicted but I understand why I'm conflicted. In concert I imagine that those synths and sound ****ery whatnots must have been loud as **** as live **** is, and so the contrast between deafening anti-music and Orridge's monotone ramblings must have been ****ed up, but after a half hour the effect isn't what I feel it should be. I love the approach, I love the lack of attempt to entertain, I love that guy next to Orridge who just seems to be doing what the **** ever and I can't even tell if what he's doing sounds like anything (though that mouth thing he has at 6 mins clearly is doing something cool), but I know that I'm missing something with the lack of deafening sound. I just wish I could be there probably unable to hear my own thoughts as Orridge just kind of chants.
