Their early stuff had to grow on me except for a couple tracks (Thief of Fire and We Are Time). Mark Stewart is almost more of a noise rock vocalist than a punk singer.

Gonna listen to that in a minute, but literally how many songs can you name off of the fingers of your hand which call out record labels? Like, none? Why don't all of the bands do that? If they all did then wouldn't the public catch wind?

Oh **** the Sex Pistols are a punk boyband, so why the **** don't more punk bands go this far?

This surfaced somewhere in my feed the other day and inspired me to dig out my copy for a spin tonight. Originally released on cassette in 1994 and reissued on CD in 2000 by Slabco, Analog Cabin is sample-based abstract collage music that has since been lost to time.

So glad someone posted it because one of the odd samples had been swimming around my head and I couldn't place what it was from!

After a few weeks this is still getting regular play and this is creeping up on a possible top ten level song. It's perfect.

But I've decided that Suicide are the most important and revolutionary band in all of pop music.

I don't even know how to describe Alan Vega in Suicide. But Jesus Christ.
