One of those late period Funkadelic albums that I missed out on for a long time along with "Uncle Jam", both of which seem to resemble Parliament quite a bit in that they're not quite as guitar and jam centric as, say, Maggot Brain or Standing On The Verge back in the early 70s. I still love these albums, and I'm getting to love them just as much as the older ones.

I remember listening to this when Ped was running the OG album club (probably like the 20th we'd had at that point but fact checking is for people trying to prove me wrong aka haters) and thought that I'd return to it having actually enjoyed some electronic music as opposed to when I was like, 12. It's nice but nothing special. Don't know enough of the context to judge how it ranks in that aspect.
