Actually, Beißpony, with the help of dept. of culture in München, are a kind of artist exchange with people from the Ukraine, South Africa, and some other people outside of Germany, so I think what Steffi Müller is doing is pretty fun. I'm sure these people (including the little scene in Sapporo) are pretty happy to get their stuff outside their neighborhoods into wider areas. After all, Cup&Saucers played with Aoi Swimming and Otaco at a München festival, so I don't know what the problem is.
