While waiting for the train this morning in the rain, I thought of the eloquent orchestrations of Clare Fischer featured on various Prince records beginning with the side project The Family in '85. I can't claim to be a major Prince fan and haven't thought of this album in decades, but the orchestrations are what made it memorable to me.

Now spinning the Super Deluxe Remastered Edition in celebration of the album which first exposed me to the world beyond top 40.
