It just bores me though. Maybe they sounded different live, but that album just has no energy or power to me. It just sounds like a pale imitation of the Stooges or the Rolling Stones or whatever. I've said it before but I think Peter Laughner and David Thomas were right to cut the unimaginative fat from Rocket from the Tombs and start Pere Ubu.

Revising this classic as a warm-up in preparation for their 2016 LP, Departed Glories. Fantastic arctic ambient.
