He's become a "hub artist". I've been listening almost entirely to hip hop for days, much of which was Eminem, and even when I'm listening to other rappers I always have to go back at least once every day or two to reup on my Em booster shot.

Oh yeah, and where's Manky when you need to give him his props? He was right all along.

I think it's easy to see what my favorite Eminem song is

A chronology of Low's discography. Closing up the first hour with their desolate and melancholic debut, I Could Live in Hope.

Current track: "Rope"

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Absolutely.

Spoiler for A few others from my college days...:
Kings of Convenience (and Erlend's solo and collaborative side projects)
Mark Kozelek (solo)
Spiritualized
Spacemen 3
American Analog Set
Grandaddy
Bedhead
Azure Ray (or Maria Taylor solo)
Emiliana Torrini
Andrew Bird (Bowl of Fire and onward)
Elliott Smith
The Album Leaf
The Bees / A Band of Bees
The Beta Band
The Books
Dave Depper's Ram Project
Elbow
Throwing Muses
Slowdive
The Dandy Warhols
Mojave 3

One of my greatest scores was finding an original dead mint sealed pressing of Elliott Smith's Either/Or on vinyl in a thrift store bin of Christmas records for $0.99.

That's fuckin rad dude! I saw Andrew not too long ago during that festival I went to and he was one of the best acts I saw, along with Basinski of course . Red House Painters are a newer love of mine but goddamn did Rollercoaster strike a chord with me? I raved about it on here the whole time I was giving in my first listen and the month afterwards. It just evokes so many nostalgic feelings for some reason, I can vividly recall individual accounts of my early childhood (events around 2001-2006, born in '98) from it, along with the peaceful feelings that engulfed it. It's just hard for me to put to words well but needless to say it became an instant favorite during my first listen. I turned on the first track and immediately could tell it was gonna be a 5-star. Goddamn.
