Relapse isn't all good, but Em definitely went far on this record. Just in case you forgot he came from the same city as Esham.

Omsk, Siberia. The 80s. Definitely, the perfect place to play real underground rock. Thank you for sharing this music, grindy. The second half of this record is tremendous.

Yeah, where else could something so bleak and ugly, yet emotional and poetic be conceived.
Glad to meet a fellow fan (?). At least it seems to me like you've already known Gr.Ob.
Also kudos for posting Ned Rothenberg. One of the most incredible reed players out there.

This is easily one of the best post-hardcore-ish mathcore type albums I've ever heard, it really blew me away after the first listen and continued to after more listens. It sounds a lot like a heavier and metallic version of the Fall of Troy, plus a whole assload of more experiments, so like FoT combined with TDEP. It was pretty much super sick after one second in and it became a favorite. Among the most original and just all around best of its kind

Even the bonus tracks on Relapse are pretty solid. And Dr. Dre knocked this whole ****ing album out of the park as well. This album has me by the short and curlies like a mu****a.

Some groovy ass jazz and a great show. Recommended for those on the fence about jazz (and jazz fans of course).
