I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I like Crowbar and their singer (mostly), but their lyrics are pretty upfront and clearly written by a sad five year old.

Re Crowbar, I really don't have the faintest idea what their lyrics are. But that's because of a combination of (a) me not giving a crap about lyrical content for most of the music I listen to, and (b) me having unusual cognitive problems understanding lyrics . . . and a lot of speech for that matter when people mumble, or speak quickly/slur words together, or when they have accents really different than mine, etc.

Re (b), I watch all modern films with subtitles on. There's way too much mumbling etc. in films. Stuff from the 50s and prior is a different story. I can watch that without subtitles just fine.

I'm the same exact way. If I read the lyrics along to the song, I'm usually fine. but if I've heard the song quite a few times without reading the lyrics, I either hear nothing intelligible or I hear things they are definitely NOT saying.
