Happy belated Birthday Inner

I can't get this song out of my head. I don't know what took me so long to listen to Coloring Book

Just found this album of instrumental 60's psychedelia while I was checking out something else on YouTube...

101 Strings ‎- Astro Sounds from beyond the year 2000 (1969)

"A space odyssey in the beat of today - with the far out sounds of tomorrow's uncharted trip beyond the now generation."

Groovy!

This album would complement listening to Jandek at night, I love it.

The rest of his discography is just as rewarding. He's such a thoughtful player, it's refreshing in the free improv world.

I look up this guy on RYM, and the album falls under Onkyo, a Japanese subgenre of... lowercase. I'd like to by a better genre name, Pat?

But I agree, Frown. This guy's very refreshing. I don't normally like music this slow, but he does it well.

First time of hearing about lowercase? Pretty appropriate for the music's sound.

Gorgeous

It's a definitely good sound. Not sure I can listen to 90 minutes of it at this point.

NP: My newly-arrived foil stamped promo copy of Peter Gabriel's Passion, courtesy of Amoeba Records in California. Tribal ethereal film score music.

Flynt or lowercase? If it's the former there are some Indian classical records you should check out first to get your feet wet.

Happy 81st Terry! Spinning my favorite of his catalog tonight before I settle down with some Klaus for the night.
