Brian Wilson - Imagination (album)

This song was written by Brian for his brother Carl, after they learned that Carl had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.

Brian Wilson is currently on the Australian leg of his "Pet Sounds" tour, playing in Perth in a couple of days' time. Unfortunately his show in Sydney was not well reviewed; the reviewer, who is a huge Brian Wilson fan, thinks Brian's voice is no longer up to it and he should retire. I'm glad in a way that I decided to give this show a miss; I'll always treasure the memory of the 2004 SMiLE show.

Personally i think he should retire from being a singer but hope he continues as a producer. he has an amazing ear for melody and music arrangements but i don't think he's fit to be the frontman of any band. he would be best suited as a collaborator because i think he is still a great musician but he's just not a great performer anymore.
