Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast (Full Album)

Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Style (2015, full album)
The album's a bit overrated and overhyped to me. Might sound a lot better if his vocals weren't distorted across the entire album. |
Stopped acquiring new music for a while and am just revisiting my collection as is.
Some goodies Ive found: Beck - Broken Drum (BoC Remix) Spandau Ballet - True (lol, good song though) Fleshgod Apocalypse - At The Guillotine Xiu Xiu - All We Ever Wanted Was Everything (Bowie cover) |
Fever Ray

^ Good one. I wonder if she'll ever release another solo album. Either that or something new from The Knife, it's time.

The Screaming Tribesmen - High Time (Full Album)

I'd love to get either, but I'm not sure we'll see anything new from either of them anytime in the near future, unfortunately.

For the life of me, I don't know why I didn't like this album the first time I listened to it a few years ago. Pretty much after giving it a second chance it clicked like the first time never happened. It's raw as ****, the guitar tone scratchy to the point of being nails-on-chalkboard, and the riffs obtuse enough to give a geometry teacher nightmares, but it's just so much fun. I can listen to this as pop music just as easily as art rock. I must have been on an off day or something.

Holy ****. Only one song into Green River's debut EP, and they already sound like the noisiest, darkest, and most ragged grunge band of all time. This isn't as accessible as Mudhoney, but it is more ****ed up, and that's really all that matters. No wonder those poseurs from Pearl Jam couldn't handle being in this band. Some truly sweet grunge/noise rock.
