I was totally blown away by this when I listened to it this morning. Minimalist, lush drones that are extremely hypnotic and otherworldly. Some of the best of 2016 for sure.

Tumbleweed Connection by Elton John, getting a little ahead for the roots rock thread. It's pretty awesome, like a mix of Elton John and CCR... two of my favorite bands. And it's a really good mix. It's actually the second time I've played it today. The first time was cool, but this second time's really awesome. I've grown on it within the past hour.
