If you don't summon me to give you **** about album titles I don't know then I won't give you **** for liking something as dull as Porcupine Tree.

Exactly what part of this do you not like? It is so up your alley it's ridiculous. Your coat hanger solo (electrified and fuzzed) would have fit like crazy.

The percussion is actually good. But in addition to that there is also:
Steven Wilson singing some boring and forgettable melody with his uninspired voice
Overproduced mediocrity in the beginning
A change up that's more exciting than what preceded it but that's not saying much
Everything else about that boring song
The same cannon of crap that Wilson has milked throughout his career (or maybe he's just really one dimensional)

The only other thing I liked about the track is a couple of interesting phrases from the guitar solo at the end.

Actually liked that for the first 60 seconds. Became a bit monotonous and then the forced dissonance kinda killed it.

It's really an album experience with that one, it was just the track I was on at the time. This is what that one leads into.

Realized it 2 seconds after I posted. Wilson makes it work most of the time though IMO.
