I'm assuming this is in reference to my post about Townes and depressing music? I would have liked this more if it hadn't been a pop song with just overtones of folk. Made it a bit too conventional sounding to really get that feeling of almost dark fantasy that really depressing folk country can evoke. Doesn't have to be pure country folk either.

I learned today that Wolfgang Voigt has a number of LPs outside of his Gas moniker. This evening's musical survey is the Voigt discography.

(1999) 20 Minuten Gas Im November
(2010) Freiland Klaviermusik
(2011) Kafkatrax
(2011) Rückverzauberung 4
(2013) Zukunft Ohne Menschen
(2014) Rückverzauberung 9
(2015) Protest - Versammlung 1
(2015) Rückverzauberung 10 - Nationalpark
(2015) Rückverzauberung Live In London

Rückverzauberung 10 - Nationalpark is a strong highlight of the catalog. I'd link content but there doesn't appear to be anything on YT.

^Love that album/track immensely. Ironically I've been listening to it via spotify which does not host any of his Gas albums.

edit for correction: a spotify search revealed that they do have some Gas, yay spotify
