Who said that? You listen to new music all the time, hello Fat Freddy's Drop? You're the most diverse music lover I've ever met.

![]() ![]() ANATHEMA - WE'RE HERE BECAUSE WE'RE HERE (2010) Took me a few listens but listening to this now and really getting into it. I can njever quite decide whether i preferred them in their earlier days as a doom metal band but regardless, i think they do the artsy, atmospheric rock thing very well and this album is certainly no exception. At times a tight wall of sound of distorted guitars and at other times, a meditative wave of melody and male/female vocal harmonies. The album was mixed by Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree and maybe it's just me, but i think you can tell. I can imagine Porcupine Tree fans digging this. |
