None of these are really my thing. I'm looking for something with more melancholy, perhaps. It's probably more about the instrumental than the lyrics, although having somewhat relatable lyrics would be a plus. The first was more edgy dark than the kind of depressing dark I'm talking about, second didn't give me the vibe I'm looking for, 3rd didn't either. I'm not sure how to explain it, other than I like the way Earl put ambience in with "Grief" and the general slowness of it. It's more likable to me for many reasons. After some research "Cloud Rap" seems like it'd be a good place for me to start. |
