I love Gridlink and Discordance Axis, but sometimes I just wanna listen to some lowbrow deathgrind. It's got the brutality of brutal death metal, but that punk energy gives it an intensity that all that Suffocation thievery just can't replicate. For the most part, even second-rate, modern deathgrind is better than first-tier, modern death metal.
