One of the most fun songs it's ever been my pleasure to hear. Plus the melody from the accordion from about 3 minutes onwards really gets me every time.

Could be because it's nearly 20 years old and they have influenced a lot of bands since then...effectively making the sound more common, less weird.

I've decided to try and get into Rush. I've only heard one song by them before...Limelight which I liked a lot. Hopefully this 2112 albums as good as it's cracked up to be.

i've not put the album on, just that song. I didn't hear the magic in 2112 on the first 2 listens but this song i'm loving straight off the bat

Then you should probably check out the album Permanent Waves that the song comes from, you'd probably like it more than 2112.
