Digging out the immense Gilded Palace Of Sin for the first time in que a while now. Gotta love the guitar work on this one.

Norwegian Indie rock with a distinctive Floydian atmosphere about it. Great vocals, great relaxing feel.

Agreed. Aside from all their more well respected albums and songs, The Beatles also did some great pop tunes and two great pop albums.

Heard this on the radio and I actually really liked it :)

Please Please Me and a Hard Day's Night are a couple of the best out-and-out pop albums it's ever been my pleasure to listen to. Some are Beatles' best songs are on the more obscure B-side of the latter too.

Also, sorry if that post came across as a bit twattish - I was whiskeying myself up for a night out at the time!
