^Elvis Costello goes baroque, and actually does a pretty good job of it for me.

Is this Metallica at ther best? Of course it isnt. Is it somewhat recycled song structuring from their long past glory days? Of course it is. But I dont care about the haters, I think its more than a respectable, welcome somewhat return to form. Getting its first spin for quite some time today.

Packed with riffs from start to finish, some great solo's and stellar guitar work in general and a fair few hooks thrown in for good measure.

Niggaz with attitude! Straight Outta Compton is tough to beat when it comes to droppin' beats and spittin' rhymes.

BIFFY CLYRO - BUBBLES (2010)

The next single to soon be released from the bands Only Revolutions album of 2009. I just cant stop playing it. Thing is I dont know why. Its a perfectly enjoyable pop track but the lyrics are crap and theres really nothing jumping out at me here apart from the fact that it is of course undeniably very, very catchy.

Give me two weeks and I'll be bored to death of it so im enjoying it while I can. Plus I might just be able to kill the constant loop its playing in my head if i listen to it too much.

So, again...

Great lyrics, great melody (that accordion gets me every time), great instrumental performances - just all-round one of my favourite ever songs.

Pavement - 'Father to a Sister of Thought'

Probably my favorite song by them. Just beautiful.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

The classic heartbreak song, and this is definitely my favourite version of it (even if the White Stripes one gives it a bit of a run for its money).
