Some '60s music trivia:

George Harrison wrote "Blue Jay Way" in a rented house on Blue Jay Way in Los Anges. Two, years later, Paul Simon wrote "Cecilia" in the same house.

Some early 70s trivia:

At a Zep party in LA, George Harrison commented to Jimmy Page that "the problem with Led Zeppelin is that they didn't do enough ballads."

Jimmy wrote The Rain Song in response and even stole the first few chords from Harrison's "Something" as a nod.

no problem man, you mentioned the vocals earlier on Blue jay and the vocals in that song are really good.
they have like a weird reverb effect, you can hear the vocal track alone if you disconnect the left side of the audio cause it's all in the right one and even alone it sounds good.

When I lived near LA I tried to find that house one day. Took me awhile. All those twisty Hollywood hills roads and apparently they no longer bother to put up a blue jay way street sign because they get stolen almost immediately. I think I finally saw the name of the street painted on the curb after I passed the road several times. To be fair, I have zero sense of direction and this was pre cell phone GPS.
