I loved their first album. I need to look them up and see if they released anything after their 07 album.

Mainstream, but I feel no shame at all listening to this artist. This is a good start to develop my more mellow playlists.

You should never feel shame listening to music you like.

Well, I suppose that is true and in the right line of thinking in principle.

The thing is when I listen to pop or metalcore, there are some really crappy artists that get lumped in the same category.

My favorite Austin, TX band "Grupo Fantasma" playing as their alter ego "Brownout"

Yeah, it's in every genre tbh. And even then people will have their opinions. So at the end of the day.. Whatever I like is what I like.

Here's another track. Sounds like Britney Spears but done so much better. I never listen to teen pop, but something about it's composition makes it listenable. Only track I like from her so far, unfortunately.

On second thought: Maybe it's cause it reminds me of Roxette, which I do like a bit.

At this exact moment I am listening to Sex and Candy.
It is my fav song all time, due to the riff at 'I smell sex and…can-dy'
