The thread on how to have lengthy conversations with a girl actually sparked in some search for rare music, and I wound up hearing this Canadian band. Pretty cool stuff with a name that just gets right down to the point.

Rolling on through the Bowie catalogue ....



Love the brass throughout the album; one thing I've noted is that it really has that "late night cassette" feel (I'm not sure how else to explain it).
